Young people interested in agriculture who would be selected through an open volunteer call.
They serve as the core of GLA program as they would be trained, mentored and empowered with skills in the aspects of Leadership, organic farming/gardening, entrepreneurship and Environmental conservation which are the most important skills set for young “agripreneurs” to contribute their part in securing our food future. Within their program, they would receive 3 core benefits:
- An induction where they will receive physical hands-on training on organic agriculture and through a workshop, will be trained on leadership, entrepreneurship and conservation
- A free e-learning course of choice out of a host of 50 available agribusiness courses which would be certified by an international institution
- A match up with a successful professional in volunteer chosen specialization who would serve as a mentor to support the volunteer in achieving the highest possible agricultural career
Expectations from each volunteer: (for one year) Choose a school very close to their environment and mentor the students in soft and hands-on agricultural skills while finalizing the engagement with a school agricultural project.
